Our manufacturing client is seeking an HR Manager for their Waterloo, IA facility. This is a very complex facility with 1,000+ employees.  
 
Must Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • Firm grasp of the fundamentals of HR Management.
  • 5+ years’ relevant manufacturing experience – background could include Senior HR Generalist, and HR Business Partner.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ownership of HR KPI’s.
  • Organizational development skills – developing and aligning structure people processes and reward systems with business objectives.
  • Experience leading positive associate relations and communication programs.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • The Human Resources Manager position reports to the Director Human Resources and is responsible for champion culture by aligning associates with the business mission vision and values.
  • Shapes organizational structure by aligning people and capabilities with business requirements and conditions.
  • Monitors and fosters talent development; facilitating planning conduct training and measure effectiveness.
  • Assisting in development and delivery of HR process and systems training.
  • Serving as general advisor on employment law and government regulations.
  • The HR Manager is responsible for recruiting, managing and continuously developing a world-class HR team.
